2 Hurt As Vehicle Crashes Into VFW In Sayville: Police

The driver and a passenger were taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for non-life-threatening injuries, cops say.

SAYVILLE, NY — The driver of a vehicle traveling suffered a medical incident and drove off the road, through the woods, and into a VFW building on Lakeland Avenue on Thursday afternoon, Suffolk police said.

Both the driver and passenger of the vehicle were taken to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

No other injuries were reported.
