Aldi, At Home Confirmed To Join Floor & Decor In Sayville Plaza

BOHEMIA, NY—Patch reported in April that warehouse store Floor & Decor had begun construction in the former Kmart in Sayville. Now, two more retailers are confirmed to have signed leases in the partially vacant Sayville Plaza shopping center, located at 5151 Sunrise Highway in Bohemia.

Newsday reported that At Home, a home decor store will open with 94,000 square feet of space and Aldi will take 30,000 square feet.

This will be At Home's first location on Long Island. The store will comprise parts of the shuttered Kmart as well as the former Office Max, Borders and Sports Authority spaces.

At Home is based in Texas and has 225 stores in 40 states.

This Aldi supermarket store will be the company's ninth on Long Island.
