Alive After Five Summer Street Festival Set to Kick Off in Patchogue

The first Alive After Five will be held this Thursday.

The Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce will once again host its Alive After Five summer street festival on four dates this summer in downtown Patchogue.

The 14th annual Alive After Five will take place on Thursdays–July 9, July 23, Aug. 6 and Aug. 20, with a rain date of Aug. 27. The event runs from 5- 9:30 p.m.

“The Chamber is once again proud to present Long Island’s ‘Best Festival,’” said David Kennedy, executive director for the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce. “We are extremely excited for the return of Blue Point Brewery and grateful to all of our sponsors who make Alive After Five possible. Our event chair, James Skidmore, has arranged even more artistic elements that will make Alive After Five 2015 our best yet.”

On July 23, the event will focus on “A Celebration of Women in the Arts” and there will be “A Celebration of Cultural Diversity” on Aug. 20. The 2015 sponsors include Teacher’s Federal Credit Union at the platinum level and St. Joseph’s College, Stony Brook Medicine, Bridgehampton National Bank, Blue Point Brewery and Korg at the gold level.
