The Fish Store, located at 836 Montauk Highway in Bayport, has been named "Best Fish Market On Long Island" for the ninth consecutive year, according to Bethpage Federal Credit Union's "Best of Long Island" Awards.
According to its description, the store was founded in 1978 and "provides top-notch fresh fish, live lobsters, dinners to go, catering, and more."

Customers can also dine in their restaurant, where "you can enjoy fresh cut fish prepared daily, clams and oysters on the half shell, lobster dinners," and much more.
The restaurant also serves wine and local beer on tap, including Blue Point Brewery’s seasonal beers.
