Fifty-three Long Island towns made it into New York's top 100 best places to raise a family. Agree with the rankings?

Niche.com has released its 2018 rankings of the best places to raise a family in states across the country.

According to its rankings for New York, Long Island towns make up more than half of the top 100. Six Long Island towns made the top 10 while 29 towns made the top 50.

The lists were created using information about public schools, crime rates, cost of living and family friendly amenities. Data was pulled from the U.S. Census, FBI, BLS, CDC, and other sources, according to Niche.
