Fire Breaks Out At West Sayville Property: Police

The fire was extinguished by the West Sayville Fire Department and no one was injured, Suffolk police say.

WEST SAYVILLE, NY —A fire broke out in a shed in the backyard of a West Sayville home, drawing area firefighters early Saturday morning, Suffolk police said.

The fire broke out on the High Street home's property at around 1:15 a.m., police said, adding that the West Saville Fire Department responded and extinguished the flames.

No one was injured, police said.
