Gail Patrice Roberts, Who Grew Up In Blue Point, Dies At 65

She worked as a social worker.

Gail Patrice Roberts, who grew up in Blue Point, died on Jan. 12, at her home in East Windsor, NJ surrounded by her family and friends. She was 65.

Roberts grew up in Blue Point, and shared her time living in Ocean Grove and East Windsor, NJ. She was a 1971 graduate of Bayport High School, and earned her masters degree at Rutgers School of Social Work.

Roberts was a social worker and supervisor at the Mercer County Social Services School District in Trenton for thirty five years. She retired two years ago. She was a patron of the arts, loved to travel and spend time on the beach. Ms. Roberts was predeceased by her parents John and Ann Marie (Paynton) Roberts, and her sister Teri Morace. She is survived by four sisters Dona Roberts of Blue Point, NY, Jill Silber (Bruce) of Melville, NY, Lane Kadlec (Donald) of Bayport, NY, Greer Roberts of Bayport, NY; many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and a large circle of caring and devoted friends.

A memorial gathering will be on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, NJ.
