How do you know the teacher?

My daughters both had her.

What does this person teach?

Second grade.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

My older daughter had her during Covid year, and she was available to her students 24/7 to guide them through the unknown. When my youngest daughter had her two years later, she went above and beyond to help her try to achieve her goals after falling behind from wearing a mask in school. I can not thank her enough for caring about her students and contributing to their lives and mine.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

At the end of the first Covid year, she personally dropped off class pictures and seeds to plant forget-me-nots to every student. She also invited them to have a special "I never got to say goodbye" in person lunch two years later.
