Police Issue Traffic Advisory For Blue Point and Patchogue Parades

The Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick's Day Parade will take place this Sunday.

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — Suffolk County Police are advising motorists of road closures for two St. Patrick’s Day parades taking place the next three weeks within the Fifth Precinct.

On March 12, for the Bayport-Blue Point St. Patrick's Day Parade, Montauk Highway will be closed between Oakwood Avenue in Bayport and Kennedy Avenue in Blue Point between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Additionally, Nicolls Road will be closed between Church Street and Montauk Highway; Snedecor Avenue will be closed between Middle Road and Montauk Highway, and Blue Point Avenue will be closed between Madison Street and Montauk Highway, police said.

On March 19, Main Street in Patchogue will be closed between River Avenue and Route 112 on between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m for the Patchogue St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Additionally, Route 112 will be closed between Oak Street and Main Street, police said.
