Sayville Girls Cross Country Wins League, County Championships

This season, the team won their first Suffolk County championship since 2006 and first league championship since 2011.

SAYVILLE, NY — The Sayville girls cross country team recently won their first Suffolk County championship since 2006 and first league championship since 2011.

Lead by coach Tom Duffy, the team finished the season undefeated at 4 to 0.

The winning all-league team was made up of Mullane Baumiller, Madeline McKillop, Taylor Totevski, Courtney Giattino, and Carly Bardy.

Callaghan Babcock was part of the second all-league team.

Mullane Baumiller came in first in all-county while Madeline McKillop and Taylor Totevski were in second.
