SAYVILLE, NY —Just in time for New Year's resolutions, Six Juice Market has opened in downtown Sayville. The fresh juice bar is the brainchild of Ron "6" Montgomery, a Bay Shore native who became a juicing convert later in life and now wants to show others what he says are the health benefits of his fruit and vegetable combinations.

The store is located at 291 W. Main St. Montgomery will have an official ribbon cutting on Jan. 15. The business has been a long time coming.

Montgomery told Patch in January 2021 that he had hoped to be open by this summer, but he's not letting the setbacks deter him.

He says he expects a post-holiday bump of Long Islanders looking to kick off a healthy lifestyle in the new year. Some of his custom-blended juices are marketed as immunity boosters and others are part of multi-day juice cleanses.
