Bay Street Theater is presenting something new and different this summer. Scott Schwartz the Artistic Director of Bay Street calls it Wonder/Wall. This week’s presentation is titled "20,000," a play on the Jules Verne classic novel and Disney Movie, "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea." Bay Street Video Designers Mike Billings and Brian Staton along with the writing and stage direction of Bay Street's Assistant Artistic Directer Will Pomerantz have created a powerful must see twenty minute show.

Julia Motyka who portrays Rachel Carson and gives a phenomenal performance as does Peter Macklin as Jules Verne. Although he is mostly live he makes multiple terrific appearances on the Wonder/Wall video as various characters from Verne's novel.. However great the two actors are the real amazement comes from the almost 3D video effects Billings and Staton create to surround the Bay Street Courtyard turned into an outdoor theater. It's very effective and innovative. Then with the wonderful writing of Will Pomerantz the show presents a story, a spectacle and some interesting information.

The show runs through July 25th with shows running every half hour from 8:30 pm t0 10:30 pm and to 11:00 PM on the weekends. For precise information visit http://www.baystreet.org/calen...
