BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — If you're looking for a job, there's an opportunity coming soon in Bridgehampton.
The Bridgehampton Child Care & Recreational Center, located at 551 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton, is hosting a job fair on Wednesday, March 15 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The fair is a "great opportunity for anyone looking to get into the trades and construction industry," BHCCRC said.

The Center is partnering with developer Georgica Green Ventures and the Workforce Development Institute as part of BHCCRC's "Teach Me How to Fish" strategy. Georgica Green Ventures will be building 50 affordable housing rental units — and they are hiring, BHCCRC said.
The jobs, all entry-level, include a journeyman electrician, at $25 to $40 an hour; an HVAC installation technician, at up to $34 per hour; laborers; security; turnstile technicians; an assistant property manager; and a site superintendent.

Also, the first 50 people that RSVP and show up by 6 p.m. will receive a $25 gift card; the first 50 people that show up in general will receive a $25 gift card. So that means that if a person RSVP'd and showed up, as well, they will receive $50 in gift cards.
Applicants must be over 18, be authorized to work in New York State, and speak and understand English. A high school diploma is necessary for most positions. HVAC and electrical positions require additional experience.
