Marathoners Eligible for Extra Medal
Those completing LI and Suffolk marathons will earn extra recognition
Runners completing both the 2017 Long Island Marathon and the 2017 Suffolk Marathon will receive a second, special medal.
RXR Long Island Marathon Weekend, Catholic Health Services Suffolk County
Marathon and the Greater Long Island Running Club have collaborated to bring you the Long Island Challenge.
If you finished the RXR Long Island Marathon and then complete the CHS Suffolk County Marathon in October, you will receive this great, extra medal.
The best part is, if you ran the RXR Long Island Marathon on May 7,
you're already registered for the Long Island Challenge! There is nothing more you need to do except sign up for the Suffolk Marathon.
The Suffolk marathon is scheduled for Sunday, Oct.29, starting and finishing in Patchogue, followed by the Freedom Fest, featuring wines, foods and craft beers produced locally.
