New Store, Athleta, Opens Its Doors In Bridgehampton Commons

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A new activewear and lifestyle store opened its doors in Bridgehampton Commons this week.

Athleta, located in the Bridgehampton Commons shopping center at 2044 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton, celebrated its opening day Tuesday.

The shop features nearly 2,373 square feet of dedicated retail space, "showcasing the brand’s full selection of versatile, on-trend performance lifestyle product, including its Athleta Girl assortment," a release said.

Events scheduled to celebrate the opening include a yoga party and a Shea's Cupcakes giveaway Saturday, both from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition, during opening week, Athleta has partnered with Heart of Hamptons, and customers who donate to the charity will receive an appreciation card for $15 off their purchase, while supplies last.

Athleta is a performance and lifestyle brand for women and girls. "The brand, which has more than 220 stores across the country, offers multi-generational, performance and lifestyle outfitting for women’ active lifestyles — from workout to workday and everything in between —with novelty in color and product details, and exclusive collaborations with VIP partners like Allyson Felix, Simone Biles and Alicia Keys," the release said.

According to Athleta, the new Bridgehampton Commons store will provide customers with unique offerings including BOPIS, or a "buy online, pickup in store" option, as well as an order in store feature, alterations, and in-store education about the brand and its product selection.

"Athleta is driven by its mission to unleash the limitless potential of women and girls. The brand is proud to be recognized as a certified B Corp in the U.S. and Canada for putting people and planet right up there with profit," the release said.
