With No Insurance, Family Needs Help For Man's Homegoing Service
James Perry "Bunky" Davis passed away suddenly and his family needs help for his homegoing.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — It's during the darkest of hours that family, friends and the community open hearts to help.
A GoFundMe page, "Funeral Arrangements for James Perry 'Bunky' Davis," was created by Lenore Davis in Southampton; the page has raised $1,160 of its $17,000 goal in two days.
"James Perry 'Bunky' Davis passed away suddenly on January 2, 2019. Unfortunately, he did not have any life insurance, so our family needs your help so that we can give him a beautiful homegoing service. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated," the page said.
