SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Southampton Town residents will be hitting the polls soon to elect local representatives.

The race is on leading up to Election Day, which, this year, falls on Tuesday, November 7.

I love my job and will be honored to continue

My office provides a very important service to the residents of Southampton and I intend to continue providing that service at the highest level possible.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

16 years of experience in the post.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have improved efficiency and was able to cut staff from 7 to 2 full-time employees, resulting in significant cost savings. Best use of technology continues to be an important element contributing to the efficiency. However, we remain committed to personal attention and service for the taxpayers, so I will not convert to a telephone recording — we continue to answer the phone directly.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Listen much more than you speak.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am grateful to go to work every day and provide service to my fellow residents and would appreciate their support once again on Election Day.
