Southampton Elementary School Teacher Earns Doctorate

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Nick Epley, a Southampton Elementary School third grade teacher for the past seven years, has earned his doctorate from the American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts, the district said.

Epley earned the degree following his dissertation, “Fostering Lasting Growth Mindsets: K-5 Educator Perceptions on How Growth Mindsets Can Develop and Persist in Students Through Middle School and Beyond.”

"The Southampton School District congratulates Epley on this academic milestone," officials said.
