COVID-19 Vaccine Information

• 1,209,763 people have received at least one vaccine dose, an increase of 207.
• 1,096,694 people are fully vaccinated, an increase of 357.
• 74.8% percent of the total population is fully vaccinated.
• 79% of the population ages 5 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 95.0% of the population ages 18 and older has received at least one dose.
• 85.8% of the population ages 18 and older is fully vaccinated.
• 48.3% of the population ages 18 and older have had a booster dose.

• Vaccination rates by zip code.
• Walk-in vaccination clinics are offering COVID vaccines to Suffolk County residents who are eligible. Appointments are recommended. Medical practitioners and EMS are on-site at all times to answer questions and tend to concerns. Click here for locations and times and parental consent forms. • 93 new cases were reported.
• 6.3 cases per 100k; 6.4 on a 7-day average.
• 423,166 total cases have been reported since March 2020.
• 1.6% tested positive in Suffolk County; 1.5% positive on a 7-day average.
• 1.5% tested positive on Long Island; 1.6% positive on a 7-day average.

Fatalities, Suffolk County, March 5, 2022

• 1 fatality
• 4,344 fatalities since March 2020

Hospitalization, Suffolk County, March 5, 2022

• 87 individuals were hospitalized, a decrease of 3 in 24 hours.
• 13 were new admissions.
• 11 patients were in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a decrease of 4 in 24 hours.
• 7 patients were in the ICU and intubated.
• 14 were discharged since the last report.
• 23,373 have been discharged since March 22, 2020.

Hospital Capacity, Suffolk County

• 2,827 staffed hospital beds, 1,011 available, 36%
• 374 ICU beds, 139 available, 37%
