Southampton, NY, Tuckahoe Common School District Superintendent Leonard Skuggevik spent a night on the roof of the Middle School to celebrate his students reaching their reading goals for the year. Mr. Skuggevik wanted to show his support and enthusiasm for the students' hard work and dedication.

Wearing a traditional night cap, Mr. Skuggevik read the students a bedtime story using Google Classroom so they could all enjoy it together. He chose Miss Nelson is Missing by Harry Allard - a fun and engaging story that the students love.

The following morning, the entire school and staff gathered on the front lawn to greet Mr. Skuggevik with a cheerful "Wake up!" The superintendent emerged from his tent holding his teddy bear, wearing flannel pajamas and a long nightcap, showing his fun spirit and dedication to the students.
