UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A body was found floating in an Upper West Side section of the Hudson River on Tuesday morning, police said.

A man in his mid-fifties was pulled out of the water near West 66th Street about 7:45 a.m., an NYPD spokesperson confirmed to Patch.

He was pronounced dead, police added.

There was no visible signs of trauma, and the medical examiner will rule a cause of death, police said.
