UPPER WEST SIDE, NY – Are you a sushi-obsessed Westsider? Well, you’re in luck: Sugarfish, the Los Angeles-based sushi mecca, is opening on the Upper West Side.

A spokesperson confirmed that the new location, which is located at 207 W. 75th Street, between Broadway and Amsterdam, will open on Thursday.

Sugarfish, known for its affordable omakase – essentially a sushi tasting menu, meaning “I’ll leave it up to you,” in Japanese – is also known for its epic, hours-long wait times.
