Dentist Office Aimed At 'Transforming' The Industry Opens On UWS

Dntl bar just opened its doors at 2169 Broadway, between West 76th and 77th streets. Here's what to know about the UWS' newest dentist.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A new 3,000 square-foot dentist office just opened on the Upper West Side.

Dntl bar, which was founded by clinicians in 2019 and is "committed to transforming dental care by putting patients at the forefront," opened recently at 2169 Broadway — between West 76th and 77th streets.

It is the practices fifth location in Manhattan and offers walk-ins, checkups, cleanings, smile alignments, 3D dental imaging, implants, and urgent care.

“The days of long waits in dingy offices are over. At dntl bar, we’re elevating dental care by providing the highest quality dental care in a convenient, luxurious, and welcoming setting,” said Dr. Ben El-Chami, dntl bar’s co-founder and Chief Dental Officer, in a news release. “Our new Upper West Side office and our refreshed Wall Street location will bring the dntl bar experience to a growing number of patients."

Dntl bar was launched in 2019 by CityMD and is led by Dr. Roshan Parikh, who is the former head of dentistry at Walmart.

The Upper West Side location will also have have AI-powered technologies that can "detect dental conditions and diseases with greater accuracy and consistency" then standard care, according to dntl bar.

The Upper West Side office is open seven days a week.
