The Free IKEA® Ferry Returns!

After its brief winter break, free NY Waterway ferry service to IKEA in Brooklyn will be restarting on Saturday, March 19. The service connects the IKEA at Erie Basin in Red Hook to the Midtown W39th St. and Pier 11/Wall Street ferry terminals. New Jersey passengers can connect to the free IKEA ferry service via cross-Hudson ferries by transferring at either Manhattan terminal.

NY Waterway is a safe way to travel, offering open-air top decks, spacious fresh air cabins and continuous sanitizing of all terminals, ferries and shuttles. Face coverings are required inside terminals and inside all ferry cabins and shuttles, and social distancing is encouraged.

IKEA Brooklyn Weekend Ferry Service Spring Schedule starting Saturday, March 19

• Ferries will depart from Midtown/W39th Street every 90 minutes between 10:30am and 4:30pm, making stops at Pier 11/Wall Street and IKEA Brooklyn at Erie Basin in Red Hook.
• Ferries will also depart from Pier 11/Wall Street every 90 minutes between 11am and 3:30pm to Erie Basin.
• Ferries will depart from IKEA at Erie Basin in Red Hook every 90 minutes between 11:20am and 5:05pm, making stops at Pier 11/Wall Street and Midtown/W39th Street.
