UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — With lots of people traveling on the Upper West Side this weekend for Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's Eve, and other holidays, it felt like a good time to check in on where the COVID-19 rate stood in the neighborhood.

After the COVID rate jumped citywide during the last week of November, the percent positivity has leveled off for the majority of December.

The seven-day average across the city is 14.2 percent, according to the most recently available data.

On the other end of the spectrum, Borough Park in Brooklyn has the lowest positivity rate in the city at 2.32 percent.
