Necklace Snatched In Broad Daylight On UWS

Two individuals forcibly removed a male victim's chain necklace on Thursday afternoon.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY – Two individuals approached a male victim and forcibly removed a necklace from his neck on Thursday afternoon at 82nd Street and West End Avenue, an NYPD spokesperson told Patch.

Police and EMS responded to the scene at 5:40 p.m. on Thursday. NYPD could not confirm a description of the two snatchers.

Despite redness to his neck, the victim did not go to the hospital.
