NY-Style Pizza, Cocktail Bar Coming To UWS
The new restaurant comes from the team behind The Smith and will feature a menu of pizzas, pastas, vegetable dishes and shareables.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - The team behind The Smith restaurants is slated to open a pizza and cocktail bar in the Upper West Side next month.
Parla, an “all-day destination for lunch and dinner” serving up New York-style pizza and Italian-inspired cocktails, is set for an October opening at 320 Columbus Ave., a spokesperson for the restaurant told Patch.
The 30-seat eatery located at the former site of Saffron will also serve baked goods for breakfast.

Expect a program of espresso, wine and cocktails at Parla's 14-seat bar, alongside a selection of amari and vermouth.
Pastas, pizzas, vegetable dishes and shareable plates will anchor the lunch and dinner menu, helmed by Executive Chef Brian Ellis of The Smith. The Smith team has four Manhattan locations, as well as sites in Washington D.C. and Chicago.
