Penta Medical Recycling has been named a 2023 .ORG Impact Awards finalist by Public Interest Registry (PIR), the people behind the .ORG domain. The prestigious global awards program recognizes and rewards outstanding mission-driven individuals and organizations from around the world for their positive contributions to society.

Penta Medical Recycling was selected among applications from more than 70 countries for their work in helping to provide prosthetic equipment and devices to amputees who are most in need. A leader in the nonprofit prosthetics space and honored in the Impact Award Health and Healing category, Penta collects second-hand and excess prostheses and delivers this high-quality, low-cost prosthetic equipment to amputees in 30 countries. Penta has become the go-to resource for the collection and redistribution of valuable prosthetic and orthotic devices, ensuring that equipment does not go to waste and mobility can be restored to thousands of people around the world.

“We are honored and proud to have been chosen as a finalist in this year’s .ORG Impact Awards. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring awareness to the millions of people around the world living with limb loss and the work that Penta is doing to help provide mobility-restoring prosthetic equipment around the globe, said Anna Szczepanek, Executive Director of Penta Medical Recycling.
