UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A modern wellness brand, already established in two other locations across New York City, is now aiming to launch its newest branch on the Upper West Side.

Acupuncture studio and wellness brand, WTHN, will open its doors later this year at 69 West 71st Street, taking over the space formerly occupied by Drybar, according to the brokerage company, Brand Urban.

"The Upper West Side has become a prime target market for elevated service brands in the health and wellness space," said Taryn Brandes, founder of Brand Urban. "WTHN’s thoughtful expansion into this neighborhood allows the brand to grow its customer base Uptown in Manhattan, serving a mature, dense, and sophisticated residential customer for the first time."

At the new location, customers can immerse themselves in the brand's renowned holistic healing services, which include personalized acupuncture, cupping and herbal treatments.

Complementing these offerings will be a separate retail wellness shop, housing a curated selection of branded products situated at the storefront for easy browsing and purchase.

Rates for first-timers start at $85, which includes a 15-minute health assessment. Members get one treatment a month, one guest pass per year, complimentary cupping therapy, 15 percent off at retail and more.

"The team is excited to be positioned in their customers’ path of travel between Central Park and Columbus Avenue’s shopping and fitness destinations," Brandes said. "With a greater void in the market compared to the Upper East Side, this site presents a real opportunity to cater to an untapped market craving elevated, accessible wellness experiences."

WTHN stands out as the pioneering omni-channel modern wellness brand deeply grounded in traditional Chinese medicine, providing a unique and tailored experience to empower individuals on their health journey.

Michelle Larivee, a former investment banker, is the visionary behind WTHN. Inspired by her own life-changing experience with traditional Chinese medicine, she established the brand with the goal of empowering individuals to prioritize their well-being by providing accessible solutions to alleviate everyday stress and pain.

WTHN currently has locations in Flatiron and Williamsburg. For more information, visit www.wthn.com.
