Popular Jewelry Chain Opening New Upper West Side Location

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A popular jewelry brand with four locations across Manhattan and Brooklyn is expanding its presence and coming to the Upper West Side.

The Laguna Beach-born jewelry brand gorjana will open its latest outpost at 209 Columbus Avenue, situated between West 69th and West 70th streets, on August 10, according to a company spokesperson who spoke to Patch.

At the 850-square-foot store, shoppers will soon be able to browse the nationally recognized brand's popular designs, which include gold jewelry featuring diamonds, opals, sapphires and more.

“New York City has been such a special part of our story since the beginning,” said co-founder Gorjana Reidel.

The brand is known for its effortless, chic collections and currently has more than 70 retail locations nationwide. Pieces vary in price from $38 to $700.

Guests can also take advantage of online bespoke engraving while shopping the latest gorjana collections, fine jewelry and its leading items.

Since its founding in 2004, philanthropy has been central to gorjana's mission and community-building approach. In recent years, gorjana has donated over two million dollars to nonprofit organizations supporting various national causes, with a strong emphasis on women and children.

This commitment is reflected in annual partnerships with organizations such as The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Baby2Baby, Toys for Tots, and Dress for Success, among others.

Gorjana also proudly partners with local charities in each of its locations, including in New York, where local nonprofit organizations are encouraged to submit donation requests that contribute to the local community, officials said.
