UPPER WEST SIDE, NY - Farm-to-table meats and greens, Italian cuisine by way of Monaco and gourmet gelato and crepes are just some of the newest editions arriving in the Upper West Side.

Here’s what’s opened - or is slated to open - in the Upper West Side in the coming months:

Just Salad (2853 Broadway)

  • The scoop: The salad and warm bowl chain’s newest site, a former Starbucks Coffee location, features over a dozen salads, wraps, warm bowls, avocado toast, soups and smoothie options. Menu highlights include Just Salad’s seasonal fall salads and classic favorites like the Crispy Chicken Poblano, Thai Chicken Crunch and Tokyo Supergreens. You can view a full menu here.
  • Opened: Sept. 7

Rampoldi (43 West 64th St.)

  • The scoop: Monte Carlo-based restaurant Rampoldi opened its Upper West Side outpost in mid-September with a gala attended by none other than Monaco Prince Albert II and New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Modeled meticulously after its sibling location in Monaco, the white tablecloth eatery serves up an array of pastas, seafood and pizza helmed by Chef Antonio Salvatore. Friend Of A Farmer (68 West 71st St.)

  • The scoop: Farm-to-table brunch and dinner fare is on the menu at Friend of a Farmer’s second New York location. Located at the former site of Pascha, the 2,000-square-foot dining room features a menu of wild caught fish and locally grown produce and meats from New Jersey's Fossil Farms. All liquor is sourced locally from distilleries in New York; four locally brewed beers are also available. You can view full brunch and dinner menus here.
  • Opened: Sept. 20

Fairway Market’s 74th Street Café (2131 Broadway)

  • The scoop: The grocery store’s second floor café, which first opened in 2001 and closed during the Covid pandemic, offers sit-down wait service and a new menu of past classics and new dishes. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be offered, with breakfast served all day. Menu highlights include Fairway’s smoked fish, fresh pulled mozzarella on brick oven pizza, olive oil and baguettes for dipping, silver dollar pancakes and Fairway Market coffee brews, as well as a beer and wine list. Two Boots Pizza (70 West 71st St.)

  • The scoop: Can you really have too many slice shops in the Big Apple? Two Boots has taken up shop in the former Big Nick's Pizza serving up classic pies and funky bites from The Bird (buffalo chicken, scallions and jalapeños on a white cheese pie) to the Bayou Beast (spiced shrimp, crawfish, andouille, jalapeños and mozzarella). Try free bites of the new Upper West Side home pies - The Anita and The Veganita - at Two Boots' grand opening celebration on Tuesday.
  • Opened: Sept. 26

Panera Bread (2333 Broadway)

  • The scoop: The void that Victoria's Secret left when it moved out of 2333 Broadway in 2021 has finally been filled. The Upper West Side fast-casual lunch spot has over 2,000 locations in the United States, including several already in Manhattan, and is best known for its soups, salads, and sandwiches.
  • Opened: Sept. 25

Per Se (10 Columbus Circle)

  • The scoop: Chef Thomas Keller's contemporary cuisine house has emerged from renovations and is ready to open next month. The foodie hotspot offers two nine-course tasting menus (in which no single ingredient is ever repeated throughout the meal) and touts a liquid caramel-infused mud pie featured in Michelin Guide's 2023 New York City dessert roundup. Reservations for October are already open.
  • Opening date: Oct. 6

Haven (226 W. 79th St.)

  • The scoop: Nearly two years after signing a lease at the former site of Aussie eatery Burke & Wills, Haven is set to serve up "elevated and unique preparations of familiar dishes and innovative cocktails." Expect twists on familiar favorites, like miso soup with matzoh balls, in a 38-seat dining rom. It's the first endeavor for chef/owner Brian Staub and his team.
  • Opening date: Fall 2023

The Granola Bar (551 Amsterdam Ave.)

  • The scoop: The Granola Bar is bringing its "day-to-night cafe and restaurant" concept to the Upper West Side in what will be its first New York City location. The Connecticut-based chain is set to offer wraps, salads, granola, pasta, baked goods and even cocktails. Check out a menu here.
  • Opening date: December 2023

Amorino Gelato (44 West 63rd St.)

  • The scoop: Though you can already snag gourmet gelato flavors, crepes, macarons and other treats at three other locations in Manhattan (including one on the Upper West Side), Amorino will be opening up a fourth location, as initially reported by West Side Rag. Ed's Chowder House and Lavelier were former occupants of the space.
  • Opening date: TBD.
