UPPER WEST SIDE — An asset to the Upper West Side's culinary scene is taking a summer pause to bring new flavors to its menu, according to the owners.

Asset — the eatery on Columbus Avenue and West 75th Street owned by the duo behind Tessa — temporarily shuttered its doors on Aug. 20, according to an Instagram announcement.

"We'll be back early September with exciting new menu changes, and more," the resto writes. "An amazing Asian inspired menu. Entirely new from top to bottom. And much more."

Worker Patrick Duxbury told West Side Rag the new menu will include sushi, dim sum and skewers and small plates to enjoy at the bar.

The restaurant also shared a photo of dumplings fried up and served in a cast iron skillet.

Co-owners Will Tracy and Larry Bellone brought in Tessa’s executive chef John Schafer to create Asset's American/Mediterranean menu when it opened in 2019, Eater reported at the time.

In the sleekly designed roughly 200-seat eatery, diners could chow down on house-made pastas, poutines and pigs in a blanket.

Asset also held two open calls Thursday and Friday for jobs working in the front of house with salaries ranging between $10 and $20 an hour.
