UPPER WESTVILLE SIDE — An urban farm restaurant chain is planting Upper West Side roots in the former home of a beloved deli and a filming location for the television show "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel."

Westville plans to open its ninth location at 2290 Broadway, once home to Artie's Delicatessen, near West 83rd Street, according to brokerage firm RIPCO Real Estate.

Founder Jay Strauss said he'd received countless requests to open a Westville on the Upper West Side.

“This location was a natural expansion for our business," Strauss said in a statement. "We have long believed that every neighborhood in New York City should have its own Westville.”

The 4,300-square-foot restaurant space includes the ground floor, cellar and outdoor dining space, according to RIPCO. The eatery will seat about 115.

State records show Westville filed for an on-premise wine license on July 17th.

The space was used as a filming location for the Netflix series about a burgeoning comedic star in 1950s New York City in 2018, the West Side Rag reported at the time.

The year before, Artie's hung a sign in the door announcing it would close after 18 years in the neighborhood.

Restauranteur Arthur Cutler, the man behind Carmine's and Ollie's Noodle Shop, opened the diner in 1999.

Westville, the new tenant, has eight locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn, including Chelsea, Hells Kitchen and Hudson Square.

It's menu features farm-to-table cuisine with burgers, bowls, salads and platters. You'll likely find kale on the menu.

Doug Kleiman and Eric Fisher of RIPCO Real Estate represented Westville Restaurants and Craig Slosberg and of Newmark represented the landlord.
