UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The hit-HBO show "Succession" might be ending this month, but a piece of the popular show is up for grabs on the Upper West Side.

Roman Roy, played by Kieran Culkin, lives in none-other than the controversial 200 Amsterdam Ave. building on the Upper West Side.

Now, that penthouse is up for sale for a staggering $38 million.

The condo comes with seven rooms, four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and runs along the entire eastern perimeter of the 49th floor of the building at the corner of West 69th Street.

The apartment also comes equipped with a private elevator, floor to ceiling windows and a grand staircase.

The building has even more amenities, including a spa, steam room, fitness center, golf simulator, landscape terrace, children's playroom and more.

Daniella Schlisser, the listing agent from Brown Harris Stevens for the apartment, told The New York Times that if Roman was a real person she would advise him to move to TriBeCa instead of the Upper West Side.

"No one's going to talk to you here — and you won't make any friends," Schlisser told the New York Times about the "family-oriented Upper West Side."

Not unlike Roman's character and family in "Succession," the Upper West Side address is not one without some controversy.

The controversial tower went through a yearslong legal battle to successfully construct all 52 floors of its building.

The New York State Appellate Division overturned a lower court's ruling in March 2021 that retroactively applied a draft zoning rule that would have caused the mostly constructed building to remove roughly the top 20 stories.

Many local elected officials and community members decried the tower's size in comparison to surrounding buildings when it was first announced.

In the time since, the building has sold units ranging from $21 million to $1.7 million, according to listings from StreetEasy.
