WEST VILLAGE, NY — A Brooklyn-based dinner and party home goods store has opened their second location in the heart of the West Village.

Need a serving platter? A fun new cutlery? Funky, colorful tumblers? Or maybe an assortment of tinned fish?

Big Night, a highly-curated shop that opened in Greenpoint in 2021, wants to be the new headquarters and one-stop-shop for all who like to host guests in the neighborhood.

"Not every night is a dinner party kinda night," their website reads, "but any night can be a Big Night."

The space at 236 West 10th St., between Hudson and Bleecker streets, is much bigger than the Brooklyn store and has allowed owner Katherine Lewin to create what the shop calls a "shoppable apartment," with demarcated spaces for specific rooms — like pantry, kitchen, bar or dining room — filled with all the goods and wares one could need for each space.

That larger space means a larger range of offerings, too.

Some of those new products include cookware from Material and Great Jones, ceramic dinnerware from Mud Australia, glassware from Hudson Wilder, and linens by Misette.

And in the fridge, shoppers can find Borgatti’s ravioli and also a new freezer featuring local ice cream from Malai, Bad Habit, and Noona.

Big Night is open now and you can check out their website here.
