CHARLOTTE, NC — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools mask mandate will be allowed to expire March 7, according to a unanimous decision during Tuesday night's school board meeting.

This comes on the heels of the county deciding to lift its own mask mandate just last week.

The county's mask mandate will formally expire Feb. 26; the school system's mask mandate will expire March 7.
