DAVIDSON, NC — A 32-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon this past week, according to Davidson police.

Officers also issued dozens citations to area drivers on charges that included speeding, expired tags and expired inspections, according to the most recent police blotter.

Two breaking and entering incidents and a case of stalking were also among crimes reported in town this week.

Steven Michael Frick, 32, was arrested Sept. 3 on Peninsula Drive, charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Crime incidents reported to Davidson Police Department between Aug. 31 - Sept. 6, 2021:

  • Sept. 1 — Misdemeanor larceny, Jetton Street
  • Sept. 1 — Stalking, Jetton Street
  • Sept. 1 — Misdemeanor breaking and entering, Hollybank Path
  • Sept. 2 — False pretense, Southwest Drive
  • Sept. 3 — Communicating threats, Mallard Court
  • Sept. 3 — Assault with a deadly weapon, Peninsula Drive
  • Sept. 5 — Misdemeanor breaking and entering, Watson Street
