Be the difference! Be a volunteer. Hospice of the Western Reserve is seeking volunteers to assist in private residences, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and hospital settings. As a vital part of Hospice of the Western Reserve’s team, volunteers come from all walks of life and have a variety of skills, talents and abilities. Opportunities to serve are diverse: Companionship in private home and nursing home settings, Certified Pet Therapy, Licensed Cosmetologists and Barbers, light housekeeping, Patient phone calls, and Veterans Visiting Veterans.

The next series of volunteer classes start on December 7th at 9:00 a.m., at Hospice of the Western Reserve, 22730 Fairview Center Drive, Fairview Park, Ohio 44126. Pre-registration is required. For more information, or to register, call the volunteer team at 216.255.9090. It is required to wait 12 months after experiencing a significant loss before volunteering directly with patients.
