At least one Strongsville resident has reported that a door-to-door solicitor seeking to sell energy claimed to be part of NOPEC.

That's not true, the agency said. NOPEC does not solicit customers door-to-door.

If a solicitor asks to see your utility bill, you should decline, the agency advises. If a solicitor claims to be from NOPEC, or is not displaying a Strongsville solicitor's permit, please call police at 440-238-7373.
