WILSONVILLE, OR — April's been tough as far as the weather's been concerned. There's been rain, snow, thunderstorms, windstorms. The thing that's been keeping people going is the old saying that the April showers bring May showers.

Forecasters from the National Weather's Service's Portland office said that April will go out with a cool, soggy bang.

Friday will see a high of 55 degrees, maybe even 60 degrees. That's the good news. The bad news is that there should be showers much of the rest of the day.
