2 Lower Merion Eateries Among Area's Best Brunch Spots: Philly Mag

LOWER MERION, PA — Brunch is the best of both worlds. You can get eggs, a fried chicken sandwich, and a side of pancakes, all while sipping a cocktail any time from about 10 a.m. to 3 pm.

And according to Philadelphia Magazine food writers Jason Sheehan and Maddy Sweitzer-Lammé, two Lower Merion establishments are among the best places to get lunch in the Philadelphia region.

"Brunch menus in Philly can be works of art, filled with clever and creative international flavors," the two wrote. "Or they can just be comforting soft landings after whatever it was we got up to on Saturday night. Whatever it is that you need out of a brunch, Philly has a place that’ll make it happen."

Among the places featured on the list are one in Bala Cynwyd and Merion Station. They are The Landing Kitchen and Hymie's Deli.
