How would you describe your business?

Abiyah Naturals is not just a place where you can find handmade products made with love and good intentions, it is also a space that members of the community feel comfortable in....a warm and welcoming space that feels like home. Abiyah Naturals services people from all walks of life, looking for products that are consciously made and safe for the entire family. Abiyah Naturals soap has become a local favorite that is not only available at the brick and mortar location here in Ardmore, it is also available online as well as in several local Whole Foods Market locations, as well as other natural grocery locations. The experiences at Abiyah Naturals is always individualized, where customer satisfaction is paramount.

What are some of your customer’s favorite items, services or products?

One of the customer favorite products is the soap!!! Locally I’m known as “The Soap Lady” a name given to be years ago when I was a vendor and sold soap at festivals and events. People are overjoyed that they now have Abiyah Naturals in Ardmore to easily stock up on their favorite bars!
In addition to the soap, customers are happy that body safe aluminum free deodorant is available. Many customers visit with the goal to switch to 100% handmade body care products.

Does your business have any big plans in the near or far future, such as expansion, new offerings, etc.?

No plans in the near future but definitely looking to expand to a larger location where I can train, hire and have more handmade products available to the community. I look forward to expanding on the “handmade marketplace” experience that I recognize that many people love.

What is the best part of operating a business on the Main Line?

The best part of operating a business on the Main line is that I was born and raised in Ardmore! It is beautiful to share my works in the community in which I was raised. Ardmore has such a community vibe in general and it is an honor to have Abiyah Naturals as a vibrant addition to the community.

What are some of the difficulties in operating your business that customers may not be aware of?

One of the difficulties I face at times is being able to keep up with the demand. I am a solopreneur and all the body care products are 100% handmade by me. I love it, but it is a massive task at times. I hope in the near future to be able to employ people that can assist. Individuals with the same love and passion for this kind of work. Financially I am not able to hire and but looking forward to being able to do so in the near future.

What are some of your favorite businesses on the Main Line?

There are so many favorite businesses I love on the Main Line! I work so much it is always nice to some good food and treats! Sake Mian is one of my favorites, as they offer delicious vegetarian food options. Another go to location is Yi’s Boba! I love bubble tea and the owner is so sweet and knows exactly what I love to order each time I visit. Complete community vibes and excellent customer service!

The Main and Ardmore has so many gems within it, and I grateful to be a part of the Ardmore/Main Line business family!
