Ardmore Ice Cream Shop Among Area's Best: Philadelphia Magazine

ARDMORE, PA — Summer is upon us, and that means many people are searching for cold, sweet treats to beat the heat and satisfy the sweet tooth.

And if you're in the Ardmore area, you're close to one of the best ice cream shops in the region, according to Philadelphia Magazine.

Writer Laura Swartz published a list of the best ice cream shops in and around Philadelphia recently.

Among the spots she said are go-to places for scoops in the Philadelphia suburbs was Lu & Aug's in Ardmore.

Here's what Swartz had to say about the Rittenhouse Place ice cream purveyor:

This soft-serve spot has quickly become a neighborhood favorite since opening last year. In addition to classic cups and cones of the swirly stuff, they also encourage you to take a walk on the “wild side” with concoctions made from toppings mixed, folded and blended in.
