Ardmore Spring Fest Hoping To Expand Next Year After 2024's Success

The 2024 Ardmore Springfest brought about 1,200 people together for live music, beers, food, and more.

ARDMORE, PA — The parking lot behind John Henry's Pub in Ardmore was packed with people last weekend as hundreds came together for Ardmore Spring Fest.

The event saw about 1,200 total, surpassing the number organizer Brian Cronin expected.

And Cronin said that 1,200 number was just for people who had identification checked so they could enjoy adult beverages.

So many people were imbibing in fact that Tired Hands' crews members had to make a few beer runs to restock their booth at the event.

Cronin also said the food vendors were tapped out by the large crowd.

Music from Atomic Rock Band, Melt With You, Sounds of Phoenix, John Valerio Band, and DJ Korvez kept the crowd entertained throughout the day.

"Some of the bands blew my mind," he said.

Numerous local business and organizations were on hand as well to help spread word about their goods and services, while others set up games and activities for the kids in attendance.

Cronin credited the weather in part for the success, but the new event was likely to draw throngs of people regardless."All together, it was a really good event," he told Patch. "I've gotten like 100 compliments on the event."

With 2024's success, 2025's Spring Fest aims to be bigger and better.

"I'd be crazy not to," Cronin said of bringing the event back next year.

He's had businesses approach him about being involved in any future iterations of Ardmore Spring Fest.

For 2025, Cronin wants to expand the event from John Henry's parking lot to a street in Ardmore.

And, he'd like to raise enough money and interest to hire a national 90s band to headline the event.

"If we double [the number of vendors] we had this year, we could do that," he said.

But before Spring Fest takes place, Cronin and his team are looking to host an Oktoberfest event this fall.

He said while Fall into Ardmore is a successful event, it's not a classic Oktoberfest.
