COVID, Flu Vaccine Clinic Set For Oct 20 At Lower Merion High School

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Merion School District is hosting a vaccination clinic for its students, staff, and staff families next month.

With flu season growing nearer and COVID-19 cases apparently increasing, the district is partnering with Eric's Rx Shoppe for the clinic.

The clinic will be held from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 at Lower Merion High School in Ardmore.

Flu shots will be available for anyone 5 and older, while high-dose flu shots will be available for those 65 and older.

COVID-19 vaccines will also be offered for those 5 to 11 and 12 and older.

Registration for this clinic will open on Oct. 9 via a link.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or will need to print out this consent form and bring a signed copy with them.

Patients can receive both a flu vaccine and a COVID-19 at the clinic.

The vaccines will be administered in the gym by district nurses, Eric's staff, and community health care professionals.

Those getting vaccinations will be required to stay at the school for 15 minutes for observation after getting shots.

When coming to the school for the clinic, patients should enter the high school campus off of Montgomery Avenue at School House Lane, then follow signs to parking lots D or E, depending on available spaces.

Patients should not park in the front of the high school or enter through the high school.

Lower Merion High School is located at 315 E. Montgomery Ave. in Ardmore.
