Curbside Christmas Tree Collections Starting Next Week In Lower Merion

Lower Merion Township residents can set out their trees for collections or take them to the public works complex.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Residents in Lower Merion Township who have Christmas trees and plan to get rid of them can do so easily.

Township crews will begin collecting trees set at curbs in early January.

Collections will go on for the first two weeks of January on regular collection days.

Residents can also dispose of Christmas trees at the Public Works Complex located at 1300 N. Woodbine Ave. in Penn Valley, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

All ornaments, stands and other decorations must be removed from trees set out for collection or dropped off at the public works complex.
