Holiday Toy Drive Underway In Lower Merion Township

New, unwrapped toys and gift cards for teenagers are being accepted at various locations around the township through Dec. 20.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Resident in and around Lower Merion Township are invited to help give local kids a joyful holiday season by donating to a toy drive.

Lower Merion Township and the Ardmore Community Center are hosting the drive now through Dec. 20.

Sought are new, unwrapped toys for kids 3 to 12, and gift cards for kids 12 to 16.

All donated items will go to children in the Lower Merion Community.

Those who wish to contribute have several locations to do so.

Below are donation drop off sites:

  • Ardmore Avenue Community Center, 122 Ardmore Ave., Ardmore — 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Ardmore Farmers Market, Suburban Square, Ardmore — 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday
  • Belmont Hills Library, 120 Mary Waters Ford Road, Bala Cynwyd*
  • Gladwyne Library, 362 Righters Mill Road, Gladwyne*
  • Ludington Library, 5 S. Bryn Mawr Ave., Bryn Mawr*
  • Penn Wynne Library, 130 Overbrook Parkway, Wynnewood*
  • Lower Merion Township Administration Building, 75 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore — 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Lower Merion Township Safety Building, 71 E. Lancaster Ave., Ardmore — Any time
