LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — Tuesday saw another significant snow storm in the Philadelphia region, closings schools, delaying and canceling flights, and prompting travel alerts from local and state officials.

So much snow did the Lower Merion Township area get?

According to the National Weather Service, 3 inches of snow accumulated in Penn Wynne, as recorded by the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network at 12:30 p.m.

Over in King of Prussia, 4.3 inches of snow were reported by a trained spotter.

Schwenksville had the highest snowfall total in Montgomery County with 9 inches.

In the five-county Philadelphia region, East Nantmeal, Chester County and Springtown, Bucks County had the most snow with 10.5 inches.

Two locations — Albrightsville, Carbon County and Tobyhanna, Monroe County — had the most snow in all of Pennsylvania with 14.5 inches each.
