How Much Snow Fell In Lower Merion During The Nor'Easter?

Nearly 10 inches of snow fell in some areas, and as little as about an inch and a half fell in others. See local totals from the storm here.

LOWER MERION, PA — The Philadelphia region was hammered with snow and wind Friday to Saturday as a major Nor'easter storm hit the east coast.

So how much snow did the Lower Merion area get?

According to the National Weather Service, some areas in the Philly region got nearly 10 inches and some areas got an inch and a half.

In Bala Cynwyd though, more than 6-and-a-half inches fell.

A member of the public reported 6.6 inches to the National Weather Service at noon on Saturday.

Nearby, 4.5 inches were recorded in Manayunk at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, and 3.5 inches were reported at 7 a.m. Saturday in Conshohocken.

The National Weather Service reports of the five counties in the region, Langhorne in Bucks County got the most snow. The Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network recorded 9.9 inches at 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

And the area that got the least snow was in West Grove, Chester County. The Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network recorded 1.5 inches at 7 a.m. Saturday.
