WYNNEWOOD, PA — If you're looking for top-notch health care, Wynnewood has one of the nation's best hospitals, according to Newsweek.

Newsweek partnered with data firm Statista to release the fifth year of this list, which ranked 2,300 hospitals in 80 countries.

Featured facilities are not only innovative and offer first-class care, but also “consistently attract the best people and provide the best outcomes for patients as well as the most important new therapies and research,” according to Newsweek.

Nancy Cooper, global editor-in-chief for Newsweek, said the goal of the study was to provide a data-based comparison of hospital reputations and performances across counties.

"We hope this will be useful to patients and families seeking the best care for themselves and loved ones, as well as to hospitals as they benchmark themselves against their peers," Cooper said.

Twenty-six other Pennsylvania hospitals were featured in the rankings.

Among those, Paoli Hospital at No. 185 and Bryn Mawr Hospital at No. 228, both of which are also part of the Main Line Health network.

"This recognition is a direct result of the incredible teamwork on the part of not only doctors and nurses but all the staff at Main Line Health," Jack Lynch, President and CEO of Main Line Health, said. "The challenges that healthcare workers have faced in the last several years are enormous. Demand for our services continues to grow and our team is as resilient as any in meeting the needs of our patients. It takes 24/7 dedication from all of our team members to earn these honors, something for which I am forever grateful."
